Russian forces have launched renewed missile and drone attacks across eastern Ukraine in recent days, killing at least six civilians and injuring others, Ukrainian officials said.

Authorities reported that strikes hit populated areas in Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka, causing casualties and damage to residential buildings. Emergency crews were deployed to affected areas as rescue operations continued following the latest wave of bombardment.

The fresh attacks come as frontline fighting remains active, with independent military assessments indicating that Russian advances have slowed compared with previous months. Analysts say both sides continue to engage in sustained combat along multiple sectors of the eastern front.

Infrastructure has also been impacted in recent strikes, including facilities serving civilian areas. Ukrainian officials accused Moscow of targeting non-military sites, while Russia has maintained that it strikes military and logistical objectives. The renewed violence comes as the war moves into its fourth year, with diplomatic efforts to reach a negotiated settlement still facing major obstacles.
